Curiosities
• The name Drogone: It comes from a Norman warlord who was assassinated in a village near Cantina Giardino.
• A historic wine for the winery: First produced in 2003, the same year as Le Fole, the name was also chosen for its playful ambiguity, inspiring the phrase: Tonight, let’s have a Drogone!
• The label: Designed by Angelo Maria La Porta, it depicts a dragon riding a barrique while enjoying a glass of wine.
• Connection with Lambic beer: The pomace from this wine is used to produce Drogone Lambic Beer in collaboration with Cantillon.
