Aglianico, still here.
Aglianico is the hardest red to sell: tannic, slow, it needs time — in the bottle and in the glass. Today the market wants light, easy wines, and Aglianico stays in the cellar. We won't give up on it. Our vineyards in Montemarano and Paternopoli were planted in the 1930s, and in the cellar we add nothing, not even sulphites.
In the box — all six of our Aglianico:
Two vintages of Nude side by side: a small vertical tasting at home.
Gift: a cellar tasting for one person
Every box includes a tasting in our sandstone cellars in Via Aurelio Covotti 26, Ariano Irpino (AV). The date is agreed together: write to info@cantinagiardino.com or WhatsApp +39 334 608 3409. You can keep it or give it to someone else — just write their name in the order comments.
Every box helps keep these old vines alive. Thank you.
